== Early Life and Education ==
Ashish Kaul was born on June 1, 1971, in Jammu, India, to Smt Pushpa Kaul and Sri Rattan Lal Kaul. He completed his secondary education at St. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School in Baramulla, Kashmir. Kaul pursued higher education at several prestigious institutions. He earned a PhD in Mass Communications from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University and an MBA in Marketing Management as well as an MA in Sociology from Chaudhary Charan Singh University.

He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Kurukshetra University and a Graduate Diploma in Hotel Management from IHM Panipat, specializing in Marketing and Sales. Additionally, Kaul obtained diplomas in Advertising and Production from Welingkar’s Institute of Management Development & Research and completed a Management Development Programme at the Indian Institute of Management. == Career ==
Ashish Kaul has had a distinguished career across various leadership roles in the media and entertainment industry. He has served as the Group Vice President of Zee & Essel Group, where he was instrumental in shaping the company's media strategy. He then took on the role of Business Head for the Hinduja Group's content business, followed by his position as Business Head & Country Manager at Bajaj Herbals. Kaul also served as the CEO of both the Association of Motion Pictures & TV Programme Producers Association and Prakash Jha Productions.
