Chordia was born in the mid-sized town of Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, into a family belonging to the Jain community. She traces her ancestral heritage to royal lineages of Rajasthan, including historical associations with Sawai Madho Singh and Ratan Singh Rathore.

At the age of 17, she left her hometown to pursue a career in commerce, relocating first to Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and later to Mumbai, the financial capital of India. In 1999, she enrolled with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India to pursue the Chartered Accountant qualification. She subsequently completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree from Vikram University, securing 93% marks in Accounting. She also achieved 97% marks in Economics in the Central Board of Secondary Education higher secondary examination.

She began her career as a risk analyst in the capital markets sector between 2001 and 2005, working with trading terminals of the National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange. She was involved in intraday trading and terminal management activities. She later served as a risk advisor to several global banks and financial institutions and held senior executive positions within the banking and financial services industry. She was a panel member of the Independent Financial Consultants Forum of Grant Thornton (2022–2023). She has also been part of the Financial & Tax Literacy Directorate forum of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for the World Forum of Accountants summit 2025.

Chordia contested and won the election to the Executive Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India United Kingdom, London Chapter, and was elected Secretary for the 2025–2029 term. In her capacity as managing director of Sunrise Financial Ltd, she provides auditing, accounting, assurance, and advisory services to FTSE 250 companies, SMEs, public sector bodies, and professional services organisations.

Political and public involvement

Chordia has been active in politics since her academic years, during which she held leadership roles, including serving as president during her school and college education. In the United Kingdom, she is a member of the Conservative Party and serves as Deputy Chairperson and a Member of the Executive Council of the Harrow West Conservative Association. She has participated in multiple election campaigns since 2019, including the London mayoral elections and the General Elections held in 2024.

She has been serving the public and working for the welfare of the community since her teenage years. Her dedication, contributions, and involvement have been remarkable over the past three decades.

She is also affiliated with the Conservative Women’s Organisation and Conservative Friends of India, where her activities have included community engagement, policy advocacy, and outreach initiatives across North West London.

In India, Chordia has been associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) since 2001. Her involvement has included election campaigning and organisational activities, such as campaign coordination, slogan writing, and speech drafting during various election periods, including those led by the governments of Atal Bihari Vajpayee (1999–2004) and Narendra Modi (2014–present). She has also participated in initiatives promoting Indian culture, heritage, tourism, and the Hindi language at international forums.

She is associated with the High Commission of India in the United Kingdom and overseas supporters of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the UK, including the Overseas Friends of BJP, and has supported cultural, political, economic, and trade-related activities.

Chordia has been associated with several global trade and business forums, including the UK–India Business Council (UKIBC), the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), to promote bilateral trade and foreign investment between India and the United Kingdom. She has participated in discussions on the India–United Kingdom Free Trade Agreement at international forums, including the World Economic Forum, addressing issues related to tariffs and non-tariff barriers, investor protection, governance, intellectual property rights, harmonisation of standards, transfer pricing, and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) frameworks.

On Madhya Pradesh Day (1 November), Chordia presented the slogan “I am India, I am Madhya Pradesh” at the Indian High Commission in London. She also presented an interpretation of the Indian national flag (Tricolour – Tiranga) highlighting its symbolic characteristics, which received international recognition. She was subsequently featured in a magazine published by the High Commission of India in London in March 2024.

She has also contributed to the promotion of the book MODIALOGUE, authored by Ashwin Fernandes and promoted by Union Cabinet Minister Smriti Zubin Irani, at various social and international platforms in 2024. This incredible book eloquently captures the essence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s transformative leadership and management skills.

Chordia has worked closely with several state governments in India to promote engagement with Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and to facilitate foreign investment. Her focus areas include renewable energy, automobiles, agribusiness, information technology, tourism, education, and infrastructure. She participated in the NRI Investment Summit 2023 organised by the Government of Madhya Pradesh under Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, followed by the Global Investors Summit 2025 organised under Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.

As a policy contributor, she participated in round-table discussions with the Government of Madhya Pradesh and the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC), advocating the development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, net-zero economic policies, and strengthened green credit mechanisms. During a meeting with the Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Mangubhai Patel, she also supported initiatives aimed at establishing direct air connectivity between Madhya Pradesh and the United Kingdom.

Chordia participated in and promoted the Rising Rajasthan Investors Meet London 2024, organised by the Government of Rajasthan in the presence of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari. She engaged with the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) to explore investment opportunities across multiple sectors. She subsequently participated in Pravasi Rajasthan Divas 2025, where she discussed investment proposals with the Rajasthan government and RIICO, including initiatives to strengthen the MSME sector, promote tourism, and encourage women entrepreneurship through targeted subsidies and policy support.

She has also held discussions with Revanth Reddy, Chief Minister of Telangana, on trade and investment partnerships between Telangana and the United Kingdom. She advised on expanding focus areas such as biotechnology and handicrafts, which were acknowledged by the Telangana government as part of its long-term development vision.

Chordia has introduced a “3I Model” for state development—Investments, Innovation, and Infrastructure—through policy discussions and round-table engagements with state governments, highlighting investor-friendly policies, infrastructure development, sustainable growth, and the strengthening of global partnerships.

Literary work

Chordia began writing at an early age and has been engaged in literary pursuits since her teenage years. In 2021, she published her debut poetry collection titled E-Zindagi, which contributed to her recognition as a bestselling author. The collection explores themes of human emotions, personal reflection, and shared life experiences, aiming to connect with a wide readership.

Her debut poetry collection received media attention, with The Times of India describing it as “beautiful and evocative,” noting her portrayal of diverse characters and individual perspectives.

Drawing on her professional background and international experience, Chordia’s writing reflects themes of personal growth, motivation, and lived experiences across cultures. She has stated in media interviews that her future literary works are expected to include motivational literature, fiction, non-fiction, and biographical writing.

She has been associated with literary organisations in India, including the All India Authors Group and the Bharatiya Sahitya Akademi. During her early years, she also participated in cultural and literary forums across India.

Chordia is the author of an upcoming motivational book titled Life Is a Game and a thriller novel titled A Silent Murder, both scheduled for publication in forthcoming years.

Personal life

Chordia has been active in politics since her college years and was involved in writing speeches and articles for political organisations during the early stages of her career. Alongside her political activities, she has been associated with various religious, social, and charitable organisations and non-governmental organisations at a global level. Her community work has included collaboration and voluntary engagement with organisations such as the British Heart Foundation, Rotary International, and other social and charitable institutions across diverse areas of public service.

Beyond her professional and public engagements, Chordia has a range of personal interests, including singing, dancing, acting, and modelling. In media interviews, she has stated that she aspired to join the Indian Police Service in her youth, inspired by Kiran Bedi. She has also trained in karate up to the level of a yellow belt. During her early career, she pursued modelling and acting alongside her higher education and was associated with film projects, although she ultimately chose to focus on qualifying as a Chartered Accountant.

Chordia has also expressed an interest in spirituality from a young age and, during her teenage years, explored the path of becoming a Jain monk. As part of her spiritual journey, she studied Jainism, the Vedas, and practices such as Reiki, aura reading, energy healing, and meditation. She has described her personal philosophy as being guided by the principle of "Jainism", “live and let live.”

Social and charitable activities

Chordia is associated with multiple charitable and non-profit organisations globally, including the British Heart Foundation, Rotary International, and various interfaith and community groups. She has been involved in organising cultural, educational, charitable, and fundraising activities in the United Kingdom in collaboration with several international organisations. She is a member of the Harrow Interfaith Forum and supports initiatives promoting peace, inclusivity, and non-violence. She is also a certified first aider (2024–2027) with St John Ambulance, London.

Her personal philosophy emphasises non-violence and humanitarian service, reflecting principles rooted in Jainism. She has contributed to various social welfare initiatives and community support platforms. She has also studied Svādhyāya (self-study), a reflective practice focused on self-awareness and personal development, and spent time with Jain monks during her teenage years, experiences that have influenced her values and daily life.

Chordia was a member of the event committee and community group of Folk Group, London, where she was involved in organising social and charitable activities for residents. During her tenure between 2022 and 2025, she worked with individuals from over 100 nationalities and contributed to the organisation of more than 500 social and charitable events. Her initiatives promoted community well-being, gender equality, diversity, inclusion, LGBTQ+ rights, maternity support, women’s empowerment, and women-led leadership across various international forums.

In 2024, she was nominated as a member of the event committee of Marathon Group UK by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), where she supported the organisation of marathon-related activities and contributed to fundraising initiatives involving approximately 50,000 global participants.

Chordia is the founder and chairperson of the Jain Chartered Accountant Federation (JCAF) UK. She has been associated with the Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) since its inception in 2007 and served as a board member of JITO UK from 2023 to 2024. She has implemented the global business directory facilitating cross-border trade and professional collaboration. She also participated in and promoted the “Ahimsa Run” (Run for Peace, Unity, and Non-Violence), a global initiative that set a Guinness World Record on 2 April 2023.

Chordia has received multiple awards and recognitions at national and international levels for her contributions to social, religious, economic, cultural, literary, and business fields.

In 2023, she was conferred the Young Achievers Award at the House of Commons, British Parliament, London. The award was presented by Sarah Owen MP, Shadow Minister for Local Government and Faith, in the presence of Bob Blackman MP and Gareth Richard Thomas MP, recognising her humanitarian, professional, and community service contributions.

In 2024, she was shortlisted and nominated for the Woman Star of the Year Award by the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA), a regional forum of professional accounting bodies under the SAARC framework.

In March 2024, Chordia was recognised by the High Commission of India in the United Kingdom and featured as an author in its official publication. Her literary contribution included an interpretation of the Indian national flag (Tricolour – Tiranga), which received international attention.
