In 2013, Abhishek was appointed as a Thai Trade Representative by the Prime Minister of Thailand to promote bilateral trade. He also served as an appointee by the Government of Gujarat's INDEXT-B for the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, where he led the largest international delegation to India to date.

Abhishek works closely with the United Nations and has contributed to projects in Myanmar aimed at introducing the ASEAN Economic Community to broaden the market for member nations. He is also an advisor to the Uttar Pradesh Trade Promotion Authority.
