Her father, Late Aftab Faridi, worked as a dress designer, while her mother, Late Sultana Parveen, served as a staff nurse. She has a sibling named Amrin Faridi.

She completed her schooling at Kumari Udyan Vidyalaya in Kanpur. Faridi later pursued higher education in commerce and earned a postgraduate degree from AND College.
