Dr. Ankur Sharma (academician)
Dr. Ankur Sharma (born 2 November 1994) is an Indian academician, edupreneur, and philanthropist. He is known for his extensive contributions to Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences. Dr. Sharma is the founder of the Agri Meet Foundation and the Royal Society of Agriculture, and has authored and edited over 32 books. He has trained more than 50,000 students and professionals in the field of agriculture.
Early life and education
Dr. Sharma was born in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees in Horticulture from CSJM University, Kanpur in 2016, 2018, and 2021, respectively. He is a Chancellor Gold Medalist at all levels of his academic career. From an early age, he displayed spiritual inclination and had memorized the entire Sunderkand Path by the age of 8.
Career
Dr. Sharma holds seven years of teaching, research, and extension experience. He is a triple gold medalist and has received awards from over seven state Governors. His research includes intercropping, post-harvest management, integrated nutrient management, and protected cultivation. He has published over 59 research papers and articles, secured 10+ patents, and presented at numerous international conferences.
