Srija Sengupta (born 2 September 2004) is an Indian model, social worker, author, singer, and orator. She is a student at the Indian Institute of Technology Patna, pursuing graduation in Computer Science and Data Analytics. Sengupta rose to prominence after winning the title of Forever Miss India (Bihar) in 2023 and later served as the Brand Ambassador and Election Icon for the Election Commission during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Munger, Bihar.

Early life and education

Srija Sengupta was born on 2 September 2004 in Munger, Bihar, to Dr. Abhijeet Sengupta, a faculty member in Life Sciences, and Mrs. Debjani Sengupta, a senior faculty of English at Notre Dame Academy, Jamalpur.

She completed her matriculation and intermediate studies with first division and distinction, and was later selected for the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna, where she is studying graduation in Computer Science and Data Analytics.

Career

Modelling and pageantry

In 2023, Sengupta won the title of Forever Miss India (Bihar) at Jaipur, organised by the Forever Star India Awards (FSIA). She also received the Super Woman Model Award from FSIA the same year.

In 2024, she was awarded the Rising Bharat Young Model of the Year (Female) by Asia Fame Organization and Padmashree Hema Malini. She also received the Best Model Award and Super Model Award 2023 presented by Malaika Arora.

She further received awards such as Queen of Success Award and Glam Icon of the Year Award 2023 by FemmeTimes.

Social service and public role

In 2024, with the recommendation of the Election Commission of Bihar, the District Magistrate of Munger appointed Sengupta as the SVEEP Election Icon and Brand Ambassador for the Lok Sabha election. Her awareness campaigns were credited with increasing voter turnout in the constituency.[1]

In 2025, she continued her association with the Election Commission as a Brand Ambassador and Election Icon for the Bihar Vidhan Sabha elections.

Sengupta also authored a series of ten NEET preparation books, distributed free of cost to aspiring medical students. She is actively involved with Notre Dame Academy’s charitable trust, supporting orphans and underprivileged students.

Other work

Sengupta is also recognised as a singer and orator. She has been honoured by multiple organisations including the Lions Club of Munger and the Rotary Club of Bhagalpur.
