Lekha Prajapati (born 14 October 1998) is an Indian actress known for her work in Hindi and Telugu and Malayalam cinema. She has appeared in films such as iSmart Shankar (2019), The Big Bull (2021), and Fukrey 3 (2023).[1]
Early life
Lekha Prajapati was born in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. She later moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Her father is Jugal Prajapati Who is senior journalist and politician.[2][3]
Career
Lekha Prajapati made her acting debut in the Telugu-language action film iSmart Shankar (2019), directed by Puri Jagannadh. She later appeared in the Bollywood film The Big Bull (2021), which starred Abhishek Bachchan and was loosely based on the stock market scam of the 1990s. In 2021, she acted in the The Right One, a short film on MX player. In 2023, she featured in Fukrey 3, a sequel in the popular Fukrey film series.[4] She also starred in films like Kshnam, a Malayalam horror thriller, City of Dreams 2 and Crimes and Confessions. In 224,[5] one of her latest projects, Saali Mohabbat,[6] directed by Tisca Chopra, was premiered at the 55th edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. She is also noted for carrying herself well in different outfits. Her short film Girl in Amber promotes breast cancer awareness.[4][7][8]
In addition to films, she has been involved in web series such as Rafuchakkar (2023) it was streaming on JioCinema now JioHotstar.[9][10][11]
