Akbar Zareef Khan
Akbar Zareef Khan (born 25 July 1970) is an Indian journalist, editor, and media personality. He is best known as the Chief Editor of Maharashtra Samachar, a prominent daily newspaper, and as the Editor-in-Chief of Bollywood Media Magazine. He also serves as the Chairman of the Railway Passenger Foundation, actively advocating for public transport improvements in India.
Early Life and Education
Akbar Zareef Khan was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He completed his schooling at Bandra Urdu High School. He later pursued journalism from Vinayaka Mission University, earning professional credentials in media and communication.
Career
Khan began his journalism career in the early 2000s and steadily gained recognition for his editorial insight and advocacy journalism. As the Chief Editor of Maharashtra Samachar, he has led investigative reports and cultural journalism focusing on issues affecting the common man.
