Ana Das (born 5 June 1989) is an Indian tarot reader, dancer, singer, model, anchor, and personality development coach. She is the founder of the ISO-certified institution Ana Das Academy of Tarot Reading and Occult Science. With a career spanning over 14 years, she is recognized for her spiritual insights, glamorous persona, and contribution to mental health awareness.
Early Life and Education
Ana Das was born in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. She is a girl from Ballygunge and owns multiple properties in different parts of Kolkata. Raised in Kasba, she is fluent in English, Hindi, and Bengali.
Ana came from a divorced family and faced psychological and academic challenges during her youth. Despite these struggles, she completed her education with high marks. She studied under the CBSE curriculum at Bodhichariya School (Class X, 2006) and graduated from Central Model School. She later pursued a B.A. and M.A. in Mass Communication and Journalism from Sikkim Manipal University.
Career
Ana began her career as an anchor at the age of 16. Within months, she gained visibility through newspaper features and hoardings. She worked with 98.3 FM and hosted both corporate and government events.
Her career was briefly paused due to a diagnosis of anxiety, panic disorder, and OCD. During recovery, she turned her passion for tarot and occult science into a profession.
In just one year, she built a reputable clientele that includes Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela, doctors, lawyers, politicians, and celebrities. In December 2024, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood awarded her the title of India’s Best Tarot Card Reader.
Other Talents
Ana is a trained belly dancer under German instructor Arinda. She won first prize in a 2023 dance concert in Panchgani. Despite multiple offers from Bollywood for acting and dance roles, she has declined them.
She is considered a fashion diva, although she prefers minimal makeup. Her physique and youthful appearance have often been compared to Hollywood teenagers.
Public Speaking and Teaching
Ana has taught spoken English and personality development at the BBC Institute. In 2023, she spoke at a wellness seminar in Panchgani where her talk on mental health became widely appreciated.
