Basharat Abass (born 25 October 1985) is an Indian entrepreneur, brand architect, and communication strategist. He is the founder and CEO of Enthusionz, a Bangalore-based marketing and digital communications agency. Abass has led branding and storytelling for over 350 companies across sectors including healthcare, fintech, education, real estate, and social impact.

He is also known for his long-standing association with Pinkathon, India's largest women’s wellness movement, founded by Milind Soman, where he has overseen brand strategy across more than 36 cities. In 2018, he was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Innovative Film Academy. He was recently listed among India’s “40 Under 40” emerging leaders.

Early Life and Education

Born in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir, Basharat comes from a family of educators. He is the youngest of three siblings, with his sisters being a doctor and a scientist. As a young innovator, he created a device to generate electricity from weeds, which was recognized by the National Innovation Foundation and earned him a personal meeting with Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.

He studied at IMI in Anantnag, earned a B.Sc. in Biotechnology from Bangalore University, and completed his PGDM from Kirloskar Institute of Management. At Kirloskar, he founded the institute’s first Brand Club, gaining the nickname "Brand Man."

Career

In 2011, Basharat launched Enthusionz, a digital marketing and brand consultancy. Under his leadership, the agency has shaped the branding of over 350 clients globally.

In 2018, he was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Innovative International Film Festival by the Innovative Film Academy for his impact on creative branding in film and entertainment.

Work with Pinkathon

Basharat is a key figure behind the branding of Pinkathon, led by fitness icon Milind Soman. Since its inception, he has developed its visual identity, digital presence, and communication strategy across India, making it a nationwide symbol of women’s health empowerment.

Speaking Engagements

As a public speaker and mentor, Basharat has presented at branding summits, business forums, and academic institutions. He introduced the leadership concept of the 3 P’s of Life – Purpose, Passion, and Persistence during a university convocation.

Personal Life

Based in Bangalore, India, Basharat is passionate about trekking, nature, and promoting innovation among youth. He actively supports startups and social entrepreneurship.
