Dr. Mihir Rananavare (born 4 October 1972) is an Indian orthopaedic surgeon, hip and knee arthroplasty specialist, and regenerative medicine practitioner. He is the founder of India’s only integrated regenerative orthopaedic clinic, combining advanced surgical techniques with cell-based therapies and natural healing. Over a 25-year career, he has performed more than 8,500 surgeries, including approximately 3,000 hip and knee replacements.

Early Life and Education

Mihir Rananavare was born in Khar, Mumbai, to a manager at Park Avenue Raymond and a homemaker mother. He completed his MBBS from Grant Medical College in 1996 and earned an MS in Orthopaedics from KEM Hospital, Mumbai.

Career

Rananavare began practising orthopaedic surgery in 1998, specialising in complex trauma, joint reconstruction, and hip & knee arthroplasty. He trained under eminent surgeon K. H. Sancheti in Pune and completed three international fellowships in South Korea, Australia, and Germany.

To date, he has conducted over 8,500 surgeries, including around 3,000 hip and knee replacements.
