History
Founding and Early Years
Enthusionz traces its origins to 2009, when Basharat Abbas, then a student at Kirloskar Institute of Management, established a student-led brand hub to promote the college. With no institutional budget, Basharat turned to emerging digital tools such as blogging and social media to position the institute competitively. This initiative laid the foundation for his entrepreneurial vision.
In December 2011, Basharat, along with co-founder Mujeem Khan, launched Enthusionz as a bootstrapped venture. At the time, India’s marketing landscape was divided between traditional advertising agencies that lacked digital expertise and digital firms that overlooked brand-building principles. Enthusionz was founded to bridge this gap, offering brand-focused communications tailored for the digital age.
Philosophy and Growth
From inception, the company adopted the philosophy that “the core principles of marketing remain constant while mediums evolve.” Enthusionz positioned itself as a brand-first agency, ensuring brand identity and values remain central across all touchpoints.
The agency’s model emphasised sustainable growth without external funding, aiming to demonstrate that entrepreneurship could thrive without venture capital or elite institutional backgrounds. Over the years, Enthusionz expanded across industries—healthcare, education, fintech, real estate, consumer goods—and extended its footprint internationally, working with clients in India, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, and the United States.
Data-Driven Approach
Enthusionz is recognised as an early adopter of data-driven marketing practices in India. Since 2012, the agency has partnered with Sprout Social, a U.S.-based social media management and analytics company, becoming one of its earliest enterprise users in India. By leveraging advanced analytics, sentiment tracking, and reporting tools, Enthusionz emphasises informed decision-making.
The company also pioneered direct client-owned business accounts for digital advertising in India, ensuring transparency in media budgets and eliminating opacity in ad spends.

The agency maintains a strong ethical stance, declining to work with brands in the tobacco and alcohol sectors.

The name Enthusionz was coined by the founders as a combination of symbolic elements:

- Nth denotes unlimited potential
- U emphasizes focus on people
- S represents Strategy
- ION is derived from the physics term ion, symbolizing readiness to connect
- Z stands for Zealous
The company’s visual identity uses black and white as its primary colors, reflecting its emphasis on transparency.
The logo features the letter “e” as the central design element, accompanied by the tagline “Digital Revolution.”
