Early life and background
Sandeep Singh was born in Lucknow to a humble Yadav family. His father, Late Mahendra Pal Singh Yadav, worked in the Indian Railways, while his mother, Late Godawari Yadav, managed farming and household work.
Raised in a disciplined environment, Singh completed his schooling at New Public School, finishing high school in 2000. During his intermediate years, he faced significant academic pressure and emotional stress, culminating in a challenging period in 2002. These experiences shaped his resilience and mental strength.
Education
Overcoming his early setbacks, Singh pursued higher education and completed a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) from Allahabad Agricultural University (now SHUATS).
He later earned an MBA (Distance Education) from ICFAI University, which strengthened his understanding of business, communication, and administration.
Career
Early professional life
After his education, Singh relocated to Gurgaon and began his corporate career at Pinnacle BPO. His early roles exposed him to customer service, communication systems, and organisational frameworks. Over the years, he worked in multiple companies, gaining operational experience and managerial insight.
Transition to entrepreneurship
Entry into the jewellery sector (2021)
In 2021, Singh began selling imitation jewellery online through Meesho under his family brand. Working with minimal resources, he managed cataloguing, packaging, order handling, and customer interaction personally.
His rapid growth led to him receiving the Meesho Rising Star Award in 2023.
ZevarHouse and the first website attempt (2024)
Singh initially operated under the brand name ZevarHouse and launched his first independent website, zhshop.in, in January 2024. The platform struggled to gain traction, resulting in financial losses.
However, this failure became a turning point—motivating him to learn branding, UI/UX, photography, and e-commerce strategy in depth.
