Prof. (Dr.) Prakash Divakaran (born 26 February 1973) is an Indian academic, author, and entrepreneur, currently serving as the Vice Chancellor of Himalayan University, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, India. He is recognized for his contributions to Supply Chain Management, research methodology, and academic leadership. Dr. Divakaran also serves as the Director and CEO of Infinite Global Research Conference Pvt. Ltd., based in Pune, Maharashtra.

Early life and education
Prakash Divakaran was born in Kayamkulam, Kerala, where he completed his schooling at CMS High School. He earned a B.A. in Malayalam from MSM College, Kerala, followed by a B.Com from MPBOU, Bhopal. He pursued an MBA and Ph.D. in Business Administration from Madurai Kamaraj University. His continued pursuit of higher education includes an M.Com, postgraduate diplomas in International Business Operations and Supply Chain Management, an M.Phil., and a Diploma in Central Excise & Customs.
Career
Early career
Dr. Divakaran began his professional career in the private sector, holding key roles in leading manufacturing and industrial firms such as:

- Minda Industries Ltd.

Academic career
In 2013, Dr. Divakaran joined Himalayan University as a Visiting Professor. His leadership and academic excellence led to his appointment as Pro-Vice Chancellor in 2022 and later as Vice Chancellor in May 2025.
Entrepreneurship
Since 2018, Dr. Divakaran has been the Director and CEO of Infinite Global Research Conference Pvt. Ltd., a Pune-based organization dedicated to promoting academic research conferences, scholarly publications, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
