Sunny Verma (born 28 August 1988), also known as Dr. Sunny Verma, is an Indian businessman and entrepreneur. He is the Managing Director of Izusa Diamond Jewellery Private Limited, an Indian diamond jewellery brand focused on making certified diamond jewellery accessible to middle-income consumers across India.

Early life and education

Sunny Verma was born and raised in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. Growing up in a small-town environment, he developed an early interest in business and entrepreneurship, influenced by discipline, perseverance, and long-term planning.

He completed his schooling at Shibli National Inter College, Azamgarh. Sunny later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from the D. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia. During his time abroad, he gained international exposure and became proficient in Hindi, English, and Russian.

Career

After completing his education in Russia, Sunny Verma returned to India to modernise and expand his family’s traditional jewellery business. He founded Izusa Diamond Jewellery Private Limited with the objective of addressing affordability and accessibility gaps in the Indian diamond jewellery market.

Izusa operates with the brand philosophy: “Humara Sapna Hai, Har Koi Pehan Sake Heera Apna”. Under Sunny Verma’s leadership, the company established an extensive dealer and distributor network across India.

In addition to jewellery, Sunny Verma announced the launch of a premium fragrance line titled Izusa Diamond OUD, positioned as a luxury extension of the Izusa brand.
