Dr. T. Sheela MBA., M.Phil (born 3 May 1987) is an Indian entrepreneur, English language educator, and academic researcher based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Dr. Sheela was born on 3 May 1987 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. She completed her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Economics from PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. She later earned an MBA in Human Resource Management through distance education from Bharathiar University, followed by an M.Phil in Economics from PSGR Krishnammal College for Women.
In 2025, she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Education by GLOBAL HUMAN PEACE UNIVERSITY (Virtual University), United States, in recognition of her contributions to education and language learning.

Career
Foundation of early institutions
In 2016, Dr. Sheela established Sairam Tuition Centre in the Selvapuram, Indira Nagar area of Coimbatore. The centre initially offered academic coaching for students from 6th to 12th standard under both CBSE and Matriculation syllabi.
Transition to English language training
In April 2018, English language courses and personality development programmes were introduced, and the institution was renamed Sairam Educational Academy. On 4 January 2022, the academy began operations from its own campus at Ganapathy, Coimbatore. A second branch was launched on 29 August 2022 at Kovaipudur, Coimbatore.
Rebranding and trademark registration
The institution was renamed GLOBAL SR ENGLISH LEARNING ACADEMY on 25 November 2023. The name was officially registered under the Trademark Registry of the Government of India on 1 January 2024.
