Navneet Mandhani is an Indian-born Cypriot entrepreneur and real estate developer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He is the founder and chief executive officer of Karma Developers, a Dubai-based real estate development company, and the founder of Sophonos Investments, a technology-focused investment firm.

Early life and education

Navneet Mandhani was born in India. He completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from GITAM University in 2002. He later pursued a Master of Science in the same field from Louisiana State University in the United States in 2004.

Career

After completing his studies, Mandhani worked in software engineering and enterprise technology roles in the United States, including a period at IBM.

In 2010, he founded Voyzze Communications, a Voice-over-Internet-Protocol company in North America, which he exited in 2013. He also operated Future Resources FZE, a commodities trading company based in Fujairah.

In 2013, Mandhani founded 'Karma Developers in Dubai. The company focused on residential development in emerging areas such as Dubai Investment Park, Falcon City, and Dubai Silicon Oasis. Its first project in Dubai Investment Park sold out shortly after launch.

Subsequent projects included 'Trinity in Arjan, Milos in Dubai Land, and Antalya in Dubai Sports City. By 2025, the company had delivered over 2,000 homes, with an additional 2,000 under construction. The company has expanded internationally to Cyprus, the United Kingdom, Romania, and Australia.

Mandhani has also been featured as a property market commentator in regional media, including Khaleej Times and Arabian Business, where he has shared insights on real estate trends and market outlook.

Through Sophonos Investments, Mandhani has invested in early-stage technology companies. One such investment, Yourkeys, was acquired by Zoopla in 2021.

Philanthropy

Through the initiative 'Karma Cares, Mandhani has supported organisations such as the Dubai Autism Centre and children’s shelters in India. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he financed flights for workers stranded due to travel restrictions.

Recognition

Mandhani was included in the Gulf Business Top 100 Indians list for 2025. He was also featured in the Entrepreneur Middle East 100 NRIs list in 2026.
