After completing her schooling, Akshitaa pursued a graduation degree in Arts, which further enriched her creative and intellectual capabilities. Her acting career began with her debut in Beeimaan Love (2016), directed by Rajiv Chaudhary. Recently, she was seen in Sultans of Delhi (2023) on ZEE5.[5]

Akshitaa is the daughter of Late Mr. Manohar Lal Sharma and Mrs. Renu Sharma is a mother and a retired teacher and director of mindful moon productions. She manages her own production company, Mindfull Moon Production, and is involved in life coaching through her app.
