Dr. Abhishek Srivastav was born on 19 November 1989 in Barauni, a small town in the Begusarai district of Bihar, India, into a lower-middle-class family. Barauni is his maternal home. His mother is a homemaker with little educational background while his father served as a government employee in clerical cadre.

Being a government employee, his father deeply understood the importance of education and firmly believed that academic excellence was the foundation of a successful life. As a result, the family environment strongly emphasized learning, discipline, and academic achievement. Education was treated as a top priority in the household, and his father maintained a strict, zero-tolerance policy toward studies.

Dr. Abhishek Srivastav received his early education at Lady Marium Convent School, an English-medium school in Barauni, Bihar, where he studied from Nursery to Class 5. He later moved to Patna, where he completed his schooling from Class 6 to Class 12 at Shivam Convent, an English-medium school.

After completing his school education, he made multiple attempts to pursue higher studies. He enrolled in the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) program through IGNOU but discontinued the course within six months. He later joined the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) program through the Directorate of Distance Education (DDE), Patna University. However, after facing academic challenges and failing in the examination, he discontinued the program as well.

As a result, Dr. Abhishek Srivastav often describes himself as a "12th-fail college dropout," reflecting the academic setbacks that marked the early phase of his life. Despite these challenges, he continued his pursuit of knowledge through self-education, extensive reading, practical learning, and professional experience. After failing Class 12 in 2007, Dr. Abhishek Srivastav appeared for the compartmental examination and soon began working to become financially independent. Due to significant differences with his father and a strong desire to stand on his own feet, he entered the workforce at an early age.

The combination of emotional distress, family pressure, and uncertainty about the future made this phase of his life extremely difficult. There was a time when he wanted to end his life multiple times.
