Rajani Kanta Mukherjee (born 4 November 1973) is an Indian entrepreneur and politician. He is the founder of Neel Akash Enterprises and an active member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He currently serves as the General Secretary of Ward 21, Chandigarh, and Co-Convenor of Chandigarh Pravasi Bengali (BJP).

Early life and education

Rajani Kanta Mukherjee was born in Berhampore, in the Murshidabad district of West Bengal, India. He came from a financially modest family and moved to Chandigarh in 1998 in search of better opportunities.

He completed his Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree.

Career

Banking career

In 2009, Mukherjee joined the State Bank of India (SBI) as a Branch Manager. He served in this role until 2012.

Entrepreneurial journey

After leaving his banking career, he founded Neel Akash Enterprises on 13 October 2012. The company specializes in water purifier sales and services.

The company operates as a distributor for brands such as Kent RO Systems, Eureka Forbes (Aquaguard), and Aquafresh.
