Shihan Ramsheed (born 4 September 1985) is an Indian martial artist, 7th Dan Black Belt registered with the World Karate Federation (WKF), and the Founder and Chairman of the Tora Shotokan Karate Federation (TSKF). Operating out of Kozhikode (Calicut), Kerala, he oversees traditional Shotokan Karate instruction, athletic development, and international dojo affiliations across South Asia and the Middle East.
Early life and martial arts education
Ramsheed was born on 4 September 1985 in Calicut (Kozhikode), Kerala, India. He began training in martial arts during early childhood, earning his Shodan (first-degree black belt) under the guidance of Dr. Shihan K. M. Basha. He subsequently continued his advanced technical studies under several Indian and international masters.
Career and establishment of TSKF
In 2005, Ramsheed opened his initial dojo under the title International Shotokan Academy. As student enrollment expanded, the academy reorganized as the Tora Shotokan Karate Association before evolving into an international governing and instructional body known as the Tora Shotokan Karate Federation (TSKF).
Global partnerships and recognitions

To expand competitive and instructional opportunities for TSKF students, Ramsheed affiliated the federation with the Funakoshi Shotokan Karate Association (FSKA) World, completing advanced master-level training under Soke Kevin Funakoshi.
Following multi-state expansions in India, the entity formally structured as the International Tora Shotokan Karate Federation. In 2020, TSKF received formal recognition and representation from governing bodies including:
